Real before & after

Same room, different style — compare from one camera angle

The architecture and viewpoint come from the uploaded photo; furniture, materials and palette change.

The control other tools hide

You don't pick a model. You pick what survives.

Most img2img tools give you one abstract “strength” slider. We turn it into decisions a human actually makes.

Keep — hard constraints

Locked items become explicit model instructions — and a region mask when you paint one. The AI regenerates the whole image using your photo as the reference, so compare locked details with the original before you publish.

  • Face — it's still the same person. Identity reference plus face-region protection.
  • Subject — the product, pet or object keeps its shape, logo and key details.
  • Composition — pose and layout stay put via structure and depth control.
  • Text & Logo — the model is told to keep lettering and logos as they are; fine print can still change, so check it.

Change — creative freedom

One tap per intent. Each chip compiles into a structured instruction with the right negative constraints.

  • Style — anime, watercolor, film, 3D, oil paint and 40+ more.
  • Background — a new scene behind an untouched subject.
  • Outfit — swap clothing while the person stays the person.
  • Lighting — golden hour, studio, neon night, overcast.

Subtle

Light touch: tone, light, small edits. Routed to precise editing models.

Balanced

The default. Obvious change with stable identity and layout.

Creative

Big reimagining. Structure loosens — fine details may drift, on purpose.

Three steps

From photo to finished image in under a minute

Upload & auto-detect

Drop any JPG, PNG or WebP. We recognize portraits, products, sketches and interiors, and pre-lock what usually matters for that kind of image.

Lock, describe, set strength

Toggle what to keep, tap what to change, pick Subtle, Balanced or Creative. No denoising values, no seed numbers, no model menus.

Compare, download, iterate

Slide before/after, download free with no added visible watermark, then keep editing the result with plain language — no re-upload needed.

One-tap starts

Prompt templates that fill the tool for you

Tap any template — it configures keep, change and strength, then scrolls you back to the studio.

Complete guide

Try several interior styles on one photo of your room

Picking a style is easier when you see it in your own room. Upload one photo, keep Composition locked so walls, windows and the camera angle stay as the reference, and generate one style at a time — Scandinavian, Japandi, modern minimalist, mid-century or your own description. Put the results side by side and choose the direction you like before spending money.

In short

Room Style Comparison on Keepframe: upload one photo, choose what must stay (face, subject, composition or text and logo) and describe the change. Your first standard result is free with no sign-up, no credit card, no app and no added watermark; after that it is 5 credits per image ($6 buys 10). The AI redraws the image using your photo as the reference, so compare locked details before you publish.

Room Style Comparison: what you get

Free to tryFirst standard (about 1K) result free as a guest — no sign-up, no credit card, no app download. Failed generations don't count.
After the free result5 credits per standard image. One-time packs: $6 for 50 credits (10 images) or $12 for 125. Plans: $9/month for 100, $19/month for 250; credits carry over.
WatermarkNo visible watermark is added. The model provider's invisible provenance mark (SynthID) is not removed.
How the original is keptLocks become explicit instructions to the image model (Google Gemini 3.1 Flash Image); a painted region becomes a mask. The image is regenerated with your photo as the reference. Exception: for background changes, "Keep subject pixels exactly" cuts your original subject out in your browser and pastes those pixels back unchanged — same price.
Best forDeciding between Scandinavian, Japandi, minimalist or another style for your own room before buying anything.
Not the right tool forMeasured layouts, renovation drawings or exact furniture dimensions.

What you can make

Bedroom refresh

Compare calm Japandi with bright Scandinavian for the same bed wall and window.

Living room direction

See minimalist versus warm mid-century before you buy a sofa or rug.

Rental or listing preview

Show a landlord or buyer two finished looks for the same room.

How to get a controlled result

A three-step workflow for Room Style Comparison

Shoot one wide photo

Stand in a corner, keep the phone level and include the floor and windows.

Generate style A, then style B

Keep Composition locked and only change the style name in the prompt.

Compare side by side

Look at the same spots in each version — window wall, bed, floor — and note what you prefer.

Prompt examples

Copy one as a starting point, then change only the details that matter to your image.

  1. Restyle this bedroom in Scandinavian style: light oak, white walls, wool textiles; keep walls, windows and camera angle.
  2. Restyle the same bedroom in Japandi style: low platform bed, natural linen, muted earth tones; keep the architecture.
  3. Restyle in modern minimalist style with very few objects and a neutral palette; keep the room geometry.
  4. Restyle as warm mid-century modern with walnut furniture; preserve windows, doors and viewpoint.

Common problems and fixes

Use these checks before increasing change strength or adding more instructions.

Styles look too similar. Name three concrete materials and one color for each style.
Room proportions shift. Use a level, wide photo and Subtle strength; keep Composition locked.
Too much furniture. Ask for 'minimal furnishing with clear floor space'.

Honest limits

What AI still gets wrong — and what we do about it

No “100% accurate” promises. Here's the truth, and the workaround.

Faces can drift at Creative strength. If it stops looking like you, drop to Balanced or Subtle — Face lock works hardest there.
Hands and fingers remain the hardest thing in AI imaging. Keep them out of the change region when you can.
Tiny text and fine logos may blur or change. Turn on Text & Logo lock and compare them against the original before publishing.
Complex textures like lace, fur or micro-patterns can simplify. Subtle strength preserves them best.
Big scene swaps can nudge edges of the composition. Lock Composition and expect minor boundary shifts, not layout changes.
Failed generations happen. Timeouts and moderation blocks are labeled clearly and never consume your free quota.
FAQ

Questions, answered straight

Yes. Run one style at a time from the same upload; each result keeps your photo as the reference for walls, windows and camera angle so the versions are easy to compare.

The model is told to keep the architecture and viewpoint, and Composition lock is on by default here. It regenerates the image, so treat results as visual direction — not measured plans.

The first result is free with no sign-up. Each further style is 5 credits ($6 buys 10 images).

Scandinavian and Japandi both rely on light colors, low furniture and clear floor space, which usually helps small rooms. Generate both and compare.
