FAQ

How do I extract a color palette from an image?

Drop, choose or paste the image — the palette appears instantly. Pick 5, 6, 8 or 10 colors, then copy the HEX codes or CSS variables, or download the swatch PNG.

How are the colors chosen?

The image is sampled and grouped with k-means clustering; each swatch is the average color of one group, sorted by how much of the image it covers.

Can I export the palette for CSS or Figma?

Copy CSS variables (--color-1 … --color-n) for code, or copy all HEX codes and paste them into Figma, Canva or Adobe tools.

Can I get the exact color of one spot?

Yes — click anywhere on the image to get that pixel's HEX, RGB and HSL.

Is this like Coolors?
