Free Gemini Watermark Remover
Remove the visible sparkle in the corner of your Gemini / Nano Banana images in one click — the rest of the image stays pixel-identical. Free, no sign-up, on your device.
For images you own or made yourself — your photos, your AI generations, screenshots you're allowed to edit. Don't use it to strip someone else's watermark or copyright notice from their work. It removes visible marks only; invisible provenance marks such as Google's SynthID are not touched.
Need more? Upscale the result 4×, remove the background, or change the whole scene with AI (first edit free).
Images made in the Gemini app (Nano Banana) carry a small visible sparkle in the bottom-right corner. Hold Frame's Gemini watermark remover selects that corner in one click (adjust with the brush if needed) and fills it with LaMa, an open AI inpainting model running in your browser. It's free, needs no sign-up and keeps the original resolution — only the corner changes. It removes the visible mark only: Google's invisible SynthID watermark stays, so the image can still be identified as AI-generated. Use it on images you generated, and label AI images where a platform requires it. The same brush removes other visible marks on AI images too.

What you get
| Price | Free. No sign-up, no credits, no daily limit, no watermark added. |
|---|---|
| How it works | You paint the area; LaMa, an open AI inpainting model (Apache-2.0), fills it from the surrounding texture. It runs in your browser with onnxruntime-web. |
| What stays the same | Every pixel outside your painted area (plus a few pixels of soft edge) is identical to your original, at the original resolution. |
| Speed | The model (92 MB) downloads once; each removal then takes about 5–15 seconds on a laptop CPU (it runs on the CPU, not the GPU). |
| Best for | Logos, text, date stamps, small watermarks, corner stars on AI images, blemishes and small objects. |
| Not the right tool for | Big tiled watermarks across the whole photo, or removing marks from images you don't have the rights to. |
How to remove a watermark
1. Add the image
Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP. It stays on your device.
2. Paint over the mark
Cover the watermark with a little margin. On the Gemini page, one click selects the bottom-right star.
3. Remove and download
Check the result (hold to compare), repeat on leftovers, then download at full resolution.
FAQ
How do I remove the Gemini watermark?
Drop your Gemini image, click Select the Gemini star (bottom-right), check that the red area covers the sparkle and click Remove. Download the cleaned image at full resolution.
Does this remove SynthID?
No. SynthID is an invisible watermark inside the pixels; this tool only removes the visible sparkle. Tools like Google's SynthID Detector can still recognize the image as AI-generated.
Is it allowed?
It's your generated image, but check the rules where you post it — many platforms require AI images to be labeled. Don't use it to pass AI images off as real photos.
Will the rest of the image change?
No. Only the selected corner is replaced; every other pixel stays the original at its original resolution.
Does it work for Nano Banana and Imagen images?
Yes for any image with a visible corner mark — the one-click selection targets the bottom-right corner, and you can paint any other spot with the brush.
What about Claude or ChatGPT images?
If an image has a visible logo or text mark, paint over it and click Remove. Invisible provenance data (C2PA metadata, SynthID) is not something this tool changes.
Is it free?
Yes. It runs in your browser: no sign-up, no credits, no daily limit, no watermark added.
