How do I remove the background from a video for free?
Drop the clip here, pick Green screen, Solid color, Image, Blur or Transparent, and click Remove background. When it finishes, download the MP4 (or the PNG frames). No account or watermark.
Can I get a green screen video with AI?
Yes. The Green screen option paints #00B140 behind the person in every frame, so you can key it in CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve or any editor.
Can I export a transparent video?
Browsers can't yet encode transparent MP4 or WebM reliably, so Transparent gives you a ZIP of PNG frames with alpha. Import it as an image sequence at the same frame rate in Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut.
Does it keep the audio?
Yes for MP4 exports when Keep audio is on and your browser can encode AAC (Chrome, Edge). PNG frames have no audio.
Does it work for objects, products or pets?
Not well. The model is trained to find people. For a product video, film it on a plain background or use the AI video restyler to change the whole scene.
How long can the video be?
Up to 15 seconds per run at 24 or 30 fps. Set a start time to process a longer video in parts.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Frames are decoded, segmented and encoded in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
