In short

Keepframe's PDF to PNG converter turns each page of a PDF into a PNG or JPG image in your browser using Mozilla's pdf.js. Choose all pages or a range like 1-3, 5, set the resolution from 72 DPI (screen) to 300 DPI (print — an A4 page becomes 2480×3508 px), optionally keep a transparent background in PNG, and download pages one by one or as a ZIP. It's free with no sign-up and no watermark, and the PDF never leaves your device.

FAQ

How do I convert a PDF to PNG for free?

Drop the PDF, keep All pages (or type a range), pick 150 or 300 DPI and click Convert to PNG. Download each page or Download all (ZIP).

Can I convert PDF to JPG instead?

Yes. Switch Format to JPG. JPG files are smaller; PNG is sharper for text and can be transparent.

What DPI should I choose?

150 DPI is sharp on screens and slides. Use 300 DPI for printing or zooming into small text; 72 DPI gives small previews.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Type a range such as 2, 4-6 or 10- (page 10 to the end). Up to 300 pages per export.

Can the PNG have a transparent background?

Yes, tick Transparent background. Pages whose PDF has a white rectangle drawn behind the content will still look white.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is opened and rendered on your device with pdf.js, so confidential documents stay private.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then convert.
